Our range of 240v mains battery chargers are suitable for charging a battery either at home or installed into a vehicle or boat to charge a battery or battery bank when connected to site or shore power. All of our battery chargers are fully automatic so they can be left connected to a battery without causing any damage. The size of the battery charger recommended for a standard lead acid, agm or gel battery is recommended to be approx. 10-20% of the battery or battery bank total amp hour (ah) capacity. For lithium batteries this can be up to the maximum charging rate for the lithium batteries built in or external battery management system (BMS).
