This kit is supplied with a intelligent voltage sense relay for use in a light duty system using low power 12v camping and leisure equipment.

This system - kit is very simple to install and is supplied with everything you will need to charge your leisure battery safely.

Simply connect your starter battery to your leisure battery(s) via the 70amp voltage sense (VSR) relay using the top quality cables,terminals and fixings supplied following our very easy to understand fitting instructions and a wiring diagram.

Suitable for all 4x4's, day vans, campers, motor homes, cars, boats and mobile workshops

When installed the voltage sense relay will simply detect the rise in voltage from you vehicles charging system to allow you to charge your leisure battery(s) while your engine is running. When your engine is then switched off, the relay will isolate your leisure battery(s) from your main starter battery. So it does not drain your main starter battery and you will always be able to start your vehicle.

This type of split charge system is recommended for general leisure, camping and marine use only and not recommended to use with high drain equipment like amps, winches or inverters.

Voltage sense systems are very simple to install as they do not need an ignition feed or any additional wiring into your vehicle but for modern  vehicles with Euro 5 - 6 engines with smart alternators you will need to use a battery to battery DC-DC charger.

  • 1-8m 42amp 6mm² Red Power Cable
  • 1m 42amp 6mm² Black Earth Cable
  • 2m 9amp Brown Relay Earth Cable
  • 2 x Fuse holders + 40A Fuses including 2 spares.
  • Crimp or solder ring Terminals to connect everything together.
  • Heat shrink to protect all the connections.
  • 15 x Cable ties + 10 x adhesive cable tie fixings to keep everything tidy.
  • Fixing screws + Drill bit
  • 2 x sticky pads to use if required
  • 2m Split conduit to protect cables in Engine bay.
  • Fitting instructions + wiring diagram
